Justin Edward Lusasi
Ph.D Student-Timber Rush Project
Mr. Justin Edward Lusasi is a Ph.D student under Timber Rush Project, registered at Sokoine University of Agriculture Tanzania and Copenhagen University Denmark. His research is focusing on Impacts of Land transactions related to forestry in Southern Highlands of Tanzania.
He received his First Degree BSc. Aquatic Environment and Conservation at the University of Dar es Salaam in 2007 and later 2012, he obtained his Master of Science in Biology, specialization of Human Ecology at Vrije Universiteit Brussels. Human Ecology is a multidisciplinary field that trains on Human interaction with his environment and Science based policy making.
He worked as Assistant Lecturer at Stella Maris Mtwara University College (now is in study leave), where he conducted different researches, consultancy and advocacy in natural resources management. He attended and/or facilitated conferences and symposia organized at the College and also worked as a College communication person for International Oil and gas Companies projects at the College.
His research and consultancy interests are focused in Natural Resource Management and rural community empowerment.
He is a hard working fellow, successfully results oriented and He never gives up for something that can be attained by someone else
