Samweli Amosi Rugumba

Professional biography

I am a dedicated Sociologist working as Tutorial Assistant within the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, with a strong passion for academic engagement and community-centered research. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from St. Augustine University of Tanzania.

With over three years of experience in project management, I have successfully contributed to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various community-based initiatives. My core competencies include community mobilization, social research, and project coordination, which I leverage to bridge academic theory and practical social development work.

My role in academia and the field allows me to mentor students while actively participating in research and outreach programs aimed at addressing pressing social issues. I am committed to fostering social transformation through knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and impactful research.
