On 29th of June 2019, Rural Development Volunteers Association (RDVA) held their annual event of biding farewell to finalists RDVA members. RDVA is a volunteering association which is non-govermental, non-profit making, non-political and based on community development. It comprises students from various degree programmes of Sokoine University of Agriculture. The association was established on 2014.
The recent event of 29th June involved participating in volunteering work of doing cleanliness in some locations of Morogoro Municipality. RDVA members joined with Morogoro Regional commissioner -Dr. Steven Kebwe to clean areas around Msamvu, this was followed by the main event in the evening in which RDVA members held a farewell party at Mazimbu. Certificate were awarded by the guest of honour, Dr. John. Msinde on behalf of Dr. Emmanuel Malisa who is RDVA patron.
