Learning Outcomes:

Content: This course focuses on issues of rural development, local participation, and conflict management. Students will acquire skills in analysing processes of social change, key factors in social and economic development and conflicts over natural resources. The course will focus on three primary conflict stages: causes of conflicts, conflict prevention and management, and post-conflict peace building.
