The Department of Development Studies is a largest department at Sokoine University of Agriculture.The department hosts local and international students from different countries . The International students undertaking studies at the department join either directly from their home countries or through Exchange Programmes. Currently, the Institute has a total number of 648 full time students including 646 Undergraduate Students, and 2 MARD and 21 PhD Students (11 Male and Females) Postgraduate Students (i.e. excluding those who come through International Students Exchange Programme).
