Content:
Concepts of  natural resources and management, preconditions for natural resources use, theories and models of natural resources management, natural resources property rights, sustainable natural resources utilization and development, natural resources utilization and its implications to poverty reduction, climate change, ecological footprint and its role in global environmental change.

Learning Outcomes:
Students upon successful completion of the course will be able to:

• explain concepts of natural resource management
• describe natural resource management approaches
• apply natural resource management approaches and model in natural resources management
• criticize natural resource utilization and poverty reduction
