Welcome to the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) of Sokoine University of Agriculture, in Morogoro, Tanzania. The College has highly trained and competent multidisciplinary academic staff. Given the diversity of expertise, the College is competitively well placed to address development challenges in the ever changing environment. The college offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with students coming from across the country, other African countries and beyond the continent under exchange programme.
Using experienced academic staff, the College offers education that is rooted in Social Sciences and Humanities, and uses demand-driven curricula that are built around an interdisciplinary, participatory and hands-on approach. This approach gives students an opportunity to learn-by-doing to acquire competences necessary for socio-economic transformation and sustainable development.
